1. Workshops Galore
I have been doing a lot of professional development so far this summer. I had a leadership team meeting at my school. I went to a workshop on word study. This week I went to a workshop on Common Core Math. It was a great workshop. I cannot wait to try out some of the things I learned. The picture below is of an exit ticket we did that I would love to try in my class.
2. My Craigslist Find
So I get on Craigslist occasionally to find some good deals. I am always searching for teacher garage sales. I saw a post that sparked my interest for a bundle of teaching items for a Hollywood/movie themed classroom. HHHHEEEEEYYYYYY!!! That was exactly what I was looking for! I drove for 40 minutes to meet her to pick it up. I really think I hit the jackpot because I couldn’t have found all of this stuff or made my own cute stuff. I have included some pictures below.
3. Brandy Concert
I enjoyed the Brandy concert with my friend. She was really good and sang a lot of her older songs.
4. H&M
Just opened this week here! I can’t wait to check it out!!
5. Outing with Friends
It is so nice to be off and hang with friends!!
